Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with design and quality teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
- Poka yoke processes when possible.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Execute continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies under guidance.
- Develop standard work for processes using work instructions, assembly procedures, digital guidance docs
- Engage with operations, discover their pain points and address.
- Focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
- Participate in daily GEMBA walks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma principles.
- Familiarity in CAD software and manufacturing systems.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ERP systems and data analysis tools.
- Solid base in Office Suite
