Job Description Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations across a high-mix, custom, made-to-order production environment Drive throughput improvements and create predictable production flow while maintaining product quality and craftsmanship Develop and execute strategies to support a 2-3x increase in manufacturing capacity Reduce lead times by addressing bottlenecks and improving performance at key operational constraints Build, coach, and empower supervisors and team leads to drive daily execution and accountability Establish operational structure, performance expectations, and escalation processes across the factory floor Lead expansion initiatives, including integration of new manufacturing capabilities such as PVD coating operations Support facility upgrades, equipment implementation, and process optimization efforts Maintain a strong floor presence to identify issues, remove barriers, and support production teams Foster a culture of servant leadership, continuous improvement, and employee development Build organizational capability by developing leaders and creating sustainable operational success Support additional operational initiatives and projects as needed MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in operations or production management Proven success managing high-mix, custom, or made-to-order manufacturing environments Strong understanding of flow management, bottleneck reduction, and Theory of Constraints principles Demonstrated ability to develop and empower frontline leaders, supervisors, and production teams Hands-on leadership style with a strong presence on the production floor Experience with metal polishing, decorative plating, spray coating, powder coating, and/or PVD processes preferred Lean Manufacturing and/or Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM) experience preferred Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred PMP certification is a plus Strong communication, leadership, and change management skills Ability to drive operational improvements while maintaining a focus on quality and team development What's on Offer Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage 401(k) retirement plan and life insurance benefits Paid time off package High-impact leadership opportunity during a significant period of operational growth and expansion Opportunity to shape manufacturing strategy, develop teams, and implement new capabilities across the facility Visible leadership role with direct influence on operational performance and company success
