Manufacturing Production Supervisor

1st & 3rd Shift Production Supervisor Needed – Kansas City, MO

CKS Packaging is seeking a skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our blow molding department. The production supervisor will ensure efficient production, maintain quality standards and lead a team to meet safety, production, and operational goals.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Requirements

• Supervise and coordinate daily blow molding production activities.
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Train, lead, and develop production team members.
• Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies.
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to maintain optimal machine performance and product quality.
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Production Supervising experience
• Hands‑on, practical experience with blow molding of rigid plastic containers, a plus but not required
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.

Shift Schedule

1st: Monday through Friday (some Saturday's), 7:00 am–3:00 pm – 3rd: Monday through Friday (some Saturday's), 11:00 pm–7:00 am.
