General Pipe Cleaners (www.drainbrain.com) — a fourth-generation, family-owned company proudly operating since 1930 — is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to lead our production team at our McKees Rocks, PA facility. We manufacture high-quality drain-cleaning equipment, plumbing tools, camera and inspection systems, wire forms, and accessories, which are distributed across the U.S. and internationally. Compensation that grows with you. We pay $65,000–$72,800 annually based on what you bring to the table, with weekly paychecks, annual performance reviews, and merit-based salary increases. This is a starting point, not a ceiling.

What You'll DoThis is a hands-on leadership role. You'll oversee daily production operations at our McKees Rocks facility, working within a USWA-represented workforce. Success in this role means earning the trust of your team, working constructively within the collective bargaining agreement, and consistently delivering results through coaching, communication, and accountability.
Your core responsibilities:Lead and motivate an established, unionized production workforce — building credibility and a culture of accountability within the framework of the USWA collective bargaining agreementOwn safety on the floor — enforce OSHA regulations and company policies, and hold every team member consistently accountable to the same standardsDrive production output to meet daily and weekly targets while upholding quality standardsManage workload assignments and scheduling in compliance with seniority rules, job bidding provisions, and CBA guidelinesCoach and develop team members through clear expectations, real-time feedback, and consistent follow-throughProactively identify and resolve bottlenecks, equipment issues, and process inefficiencies before they cost production timePartner with management on continuous improvement initiatives to increase throughput and reduce wasteUse Infor SyteLine to track production data, maintain accurate records, and identify opportunities to expand system utilization as the company growsConduct regular equipment inspections and escalate maintenance needs promptlyMaintain accurate records of output, material usage, and labor hours to support operational decision-makingWhat We're Looking ForRequired:3+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor, Production Supervisor, Foreman, or equivalent role in a manufacturing environmentDemonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop hourly production employeesSolid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and shop floor equipmentStrong skills in production scheduling, problem-solving, and day-to-day decision-makingWorking knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and a genuine commitment to workplace safetyHigh school diploma or GEDEnglish fluency requiredMust be able to commute to or relocate to McKees Rocks, PA 15136 prior to start date
Preferred — the right candidate won't need all of these:Experience supervising in a unionized manufacturing environment (USWA or similar)Familiarity with collective bargaining agreements, grievance procedures, and seniority-based schedulingExperience with Infor SyteLine or comparable ERP softwareProficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google SheetsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, or a related fieldSix Sigma Green Belt or Lean Manufacturing certification
