Job Description
As a Materials Manager II at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a crucial role in managing inventory optimization and ensuring efficient supply chain operations. You will develop and implement inventory management strategies, analyze demand patterns, and optimize inventory levels to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
You will report to our Production Planning Leadership team and work out of one of our United States locations on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have a direct impact on business operations at Honeywell Aerospace by effectively managing inventory levels, optimizing supply chain processes, and reducing waste.
Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory performance and implement corrective actions, specifically Inventory Buffers
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory management
- Ensure Material Master data setting compliance through defined audit and maintenance process
- Govern Weekly Site CTB Reporting and drive automation
- Document Planning process standard work and facilitate training
- Lead and support strategic actions and project initiatives to improve Planning performance
- Initiate and execute Planning process enhancements including use of automation and AI

Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in inventory planning or supply chain management
- Extensive ERP system expertise and comprehension of data analytics tools (SAP and Maestro)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using inventory management software and tools
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Expertise in applying AI and machine learning to optimize planning and manufacturing processes
- Experience in implementing inventory optimization strategies
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Continuous learning mindset and eagerness to stay updated with industry trends
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
