Job Description
Meals On Wheels Driver Diakon is one of the premier employers in Pennsylvania and Maryland. We are a non-profit organization which includes Diakon Child, Family, and Community Ministries and Diakon Affordable Housing. General Responsibilities: Responsible for performing various duties in order to deliver daily meals to meals on wheels recipients in accordance with federal, state and local regulations and Diakon's quality standards.
Delivers meals to assigned routes. Reports and refers to supervisor abnormal or unsafe conditions observed in the course of performing job duties. Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent normally required.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience in driving position normally required. ADA: Ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.; visual and auditory skills.
