Mechanical Design Engineer(CATIA)

Experience: 5 - 8 Years

Location: Bangalore

Key Objectives of this Role:

• ·Mechanical design and development of cockpit electronics products for the automotive industry.
• ·Developing and/or updating CAD models and drawings of the parts, sub-assembly and end item
• ·Design to meet DFM and DFA requirements
• ·Tolerance Analysis
• ·Communication and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.

Qualification, Experience and Skills:

• ·Bachelor's degree in the field of mechanical engineering or related
• ·Experience in electro-mechanical product design
• ·3D models design – GSD (Generative surface design – Class A,) parts and assemblies (CAD Tool – CATIA V5 must)
• ·2D drawings preparation (CAD Tool – CATIA V5 must)
• ·Experience in Tolerance stack-up & GD&T (Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• ·Experience in Plastic, Sheet metal, die casting component design.
• ·Experience in DFM and DFA requirements.
