Job Title: Mechanical Design ManagerExperience: 10-15 YearsLocation: Mumbai
Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (HVAC) with strong expertise in centralized air conditioning systems, VRV/VRF systems, and high-rise/commercial projects. The role involves end-to-end design, coordination, and execution support of HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities:Lead design and engineering of HVAC systems for high-rise, commercial, and hospitality projectsPerform heat load calculations and system sizingPrepare and review design drawings, layouts, and specificationsDesign VRV/VRF systems, chiller systems, ducting, and piping layoutsFinalize equipment selection including chillers, AHU, FCU, pumps, and ventilation systemsCoordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams for design integrationReview and approve shop drawings and GFC drawingsMonitor and manage the complete design lifecycleSupport project execution teams with technical inputsHandle client interactions and understand project requirements
Key Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering10-15 years of experience in HVAC design, Planning Plumbing & Fire FightingStrong knowledge of centralized AC systems, VRV/VRF, and chiller systemsProficiency in AutoCAD and HVAC design toolsStrong coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Profile:Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholdersStrong understanding of system optimization and energy efficiencyWorking in PM CM is preferable
