About the Role
We're seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented professionals to come on board as part of our management team as Mechanical Manager. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations by leading mechanical engineering projects, managing maintenance teams, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs for rotating and static equipment.Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.Ensure equipment reliability to minimize downtime and optimize production.Plan and execute mechanical engineering projects including upgrades, replacements, and new installations.Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for mechanical projects.Ensure all mechanical systems comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.Supervise mechanical engineers, technicians, and contractors.Provide training and development opportunities for team members.Utilize CAD and other design tools for mechanical system design and analysis.Review and approve mechanical designs, specifications, and documentation.Work closely with operations, process engineering, and SHE teams.Support procurement in evaluating and selecting mechanical vendors and suppliers.
Qualifications & Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.Minimum 10 years of experienced in mechanical maintenance or engineering in a chemical or continuous process industry.Strong knowledge of pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, piping systems, and pressure vessels.Familiarity with CMMS systems (e.g., SAP PM), reliability tools (RCM, FMEA), and industry codes (ASME, API).Excellent leadership with proven ability to manage stakeholder, teams, and project.Well versed in English both written or verbally
