Medical Device Manufacturing Operations Supervisor (Clean Room)

Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor for an ophthalmic medical device manufacturing company in Sarasota, FL (South Bradenton/North Sarasota area) with experience in CLEAN ROOM manufacturing operations. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position, with conversion to full-time employment after 6 months, including benefits such as PTO and holiday pay.

The supervisor will oversee 75% of the operations lifecycle, including staging, filling, demolding, and other processes, managing a team of 20 employees across four departments to ensure efficient, compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations across staging, filling, demolding, and other processes.
• Manage and support a team of 20 employees.
• Ensure compliance with GMP and quality standards.
• Oversee safety documentation and protocols.
• Conduct quality checks and audits.
• Collaborate with departments to optimize workflow.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements:

• Ability to work fully onsite in South Bradenton/North Sarasota, FL.
• Minimum 3 years leadership experience in manufacturing/operations within a GMP environment.
• Experience in a clean room environment or manufacturing facility with clean room procedures.
• Background in medical device, pharma, or related GMP fields.
• Familiarity with GMP SOPs and documentation.
• Experience leading large operations teams across multiple divisions.
• Experience with quality checks and audits.
