Medical Lab Technologist MLT/CLS

Prairie Band Health Services is looking for a Medical Lab Technologists or Clinical Laboratory Scientists or for an opportunity at Omak Health Center located in Omak, WA. The Lab Technician for the Colville Tribal Healthcare Authority assists in the lab duties at their assigned location. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring a smooth, positive and patient focused environment.

The Lab Technician will perform their job duties in a professional manner while assuring that all the needs of the patients are met with a pleasant demeanor. Full Time Medical, Vision, Dental and morePTO, Holiday Pay, and morePrevious Medical/Clinical lab experience is requiredPhlebotomy experience helpfulPrevious IHS experience helpfulDuties:Assists lab staff with daily duties and responsibilities. Operates, cleans, and maintains the laboratory equipment and area in accordance with local, state, and federal standards.

Performs laboratory specimen processing consisting of receiving, identifying, assigning accession numbers, sorting, preparation and internal laboratory distribution of blood, urine and other biological specimens. Restock supplies as needed and manage the equipment supply inventory. Record daily in the appropriate electronic health record system(s).
