Position Details: Your Impact As a Registered Nurse in Test & Treatment, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient-centered care. You'll be accountable for coordinating care, supporting families, and ensuring every child receives safe, effective, and dignified treatment. What You'll Do Provide and oversee high-quality patient care for assigned pediatric patientsCoordinate care across departments to ensure seamless service deliveryInvolve patients and families in care decisions and educationDevelop and document individualized care plans, including goals and outcomesPerform safe, structured patient handoffs (SBAR, bedside report, etc.)Communicate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teamsInterpret diagnostic and lab data to inform care decisionsDelegate and guide LPNs and support staff within scope of practiceParticipate in quality improvement, training, and professional development initiativesUphold patient rights, confidentiality, and Mercy's values in all interactions What You Bring Education & LicensureGraduate of an accredited RN programActive RN license (or compact) in the state of practiceCertificationsBLS (required within 30 days of hire)Additional certifications may include: ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC, OCN, CPHON, and more (based on unit needs) Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbsProlonged standing and walkingFrequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and movement throughout shift Why Mercy Kids?
