About the Job: Looking for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Data Lead (Sales, Project Operations, and Finance & Operations)
Job Title: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Data Lead
Location: Bangalore
Educational Background: Post graduation/bachelor’s degree.
Key Responsibilities:
Key Accountabilities
- Lead end-to-end data migration lifecycle including data assessment, cleansing, mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation
- Define and execute data migration strategies for D365 Sales, Project Operations, and Finance & Operations
- Analyze and understand business processes to ensure accurate data mapping and transformation aligned with target system design
- Assess impact of data mapping and migration decisions on overall solution architecture, integrations, and downstream systems
- Design data models, migration frameworks, and reusable data pipelines ensuring scalability and performance
- Establish data governance, quality standards, and validation frameworks to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to align data migration activities with solution architecture and delivery timelines
- Define and govern data migration tools, accelerators, and automation approaches (e.g., Azure Data Factory, SSIS, KingswaySoft, dual-write, etc.)
- Identify risks and dependencies in data migration and implement mitigation strategies
- Perform data reconciliation, validation, and sign-off processes ensuring business confidence in migrated data
- Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders for data-related decisions and strategy
- Ensure adherence to enterprise data governance, security, and regulatory compliance standards
Professional Knowledge/Skills
- 12+ years of experience in data management and migration, with 5+ years specifically in D365 data migration (Sales, Project Operations, F&O)
- Strong experience in ERP and CRM data migration programs, preferably Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem
- Strong Data Engineering & Reporting experience with Microsoft Fabrics
- Deep understanding of business processes across sales, finance, and project operations domains
- Proven experience in data mapping, data modeling, and impact assessment on enterprise architecture
- Hands-on experience with data migration tools and technologies (e.g., Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Power Platform Dataflows, KingswaySoft, etc.)
- Strong understanding of data entities, dual-write, data integration patterns, and D365 data frameworks (DMF)
- Experience working with integration platforms and data flows across systems
- Familiarity with data governance, data quality frameworks, and master data management (MDM)
- Experience delivering in Agile and DevOps environments (Azure DevOps preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions
