Mobile Automation Tester

Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Build automated test cases for regression testing and acceptance criteria.
2. Ensure application quality through manual testing.
3. Consult on sprint development duration and requirements.
4. Contribute to the creation of mock data and endpoints.
5. Monitor and track resolution of defects and conduct root cause analysis.
6. Partner with the development and product teams to create a highly performant application with user satisfaction.
7. Be highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
8. Identify opportunities for adopting new technologies to solve existing needs and anticipate future challenges.
9. Manage your own time, solve problems, and work both independently and as part of a team in a greenfield environment.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience with automated testing on Android and iOS, preferably using Espresso and XCTest frameworks.
• 5 years of experience writing and executing manual tests on Android and iOS.
• Basic understanding of programming, preferably in Swift, Objective C, Kotlin, or Java.
• Familiar with version control tools, preferably Git.
• Familiar with performance monitoring and reporting.
• Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, product, and experience owners.
• Ability to think creatively and work on undefined problems or tasks.
• Attention to visual details such as pixel misalignments and margin errors.
• Experience with banking is a plus.
• Knowledge of mobile security is a plus.
