Job Title: MYP/DP Hindi TeacherLocation: Bloomingdale International SchoolReports To: HOSJob Summary:Bloomingdale International School is seeking a dedicated and passionate MYP/DP Hindi Teacher to join our academic team. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Hindi language instruction in alignment with IB (International Baccalaureate) standards. The role involves fostering a positive learning environment, encouraging critical thinking, and supporting students in their academic and personal development.Key Responsibilities:Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Hindi lessons as per IB MYP and DP curriculum frameworksDevelop and implement unit planners in accordance with IB standards and guidelinesPresent lessons in an interactive and comprehensive manner using visual and audio aidsFacilitate inquiry-based learning and promote student participationProvide individualized support to students to enhance language proficiencyCreate and distribute learning materials such as notes, assignments, and assessmentsAssess, record, and report students' progress with constructive feedbackMaintain a disciplined, inclusive, and learner-friendly classroom environmentConduct and manage online classes as per IB expectations when requiredCollaborate with colleagues, coordinators, parents, and other stakeholdersParticipate actively in staff meetings, professional development programs, and school eventsOrganize and support co-curricular and extracurricular activities related to language learningContinuously upgrade professional knowledge by attending IB workshops, seminars, and training sessionsRequirements:Bachelor's/Master's degree in Hindi or relevant subjectB.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory)Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience, preferably in IB (MYP/DP) curriculumStrong understanding of IB teaching methodologies and assessment practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to engage students and build a positive learning environmentProficient in classroom management and lesson planningTech-savvy with experience in online teaching tools and platformsStrong organizational skills and commitment to professional ethicsKey Skills:Student-centered teaching approachCreativity and adaptability in lesson deliveryStrong subject knowledge in Hindi language and literatureClassroom management and leadership skillsCollaboration and teamworkJob Type: Full-time
