Network Analyst Job Description


WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Ensure continuous availability and running of the IT network across the all locations through 24 * 7* 365 Network Operations Centre.

• Hybrid working options Home / Office available.

• LAN/WAN Health Monitoring, Ticket Booking and Resolution. Like; Packet Drops, High Latency, CRC Error, Etc.

• Co-ordinates and lead incident resolution for Telecom infrastructures

• Co-ordinates technical information gathering from internal/external customers during incident resolution. To be the SME of telecommunications and support the Service Centers' telecommunications infrastructure including WAN, (W) LAN &
Voice Services.

• Responsible for the resolution of business-critical incidents by providing interim and permanent technical solutions that can be supported

• Resolves and diagnoses incident trends and network capacity to enable the correct capacity planning and capabilities of existing infrastructure, to meet business demand

• Participates in changes and follow the change control process

• Monitors, analyzes, reports and solve events having an adverse effect on the infrastructure.

• Tally Bills received from Service Providers and process for timely payments.

• Update Hardware Asset Management & CMDB with accurate inventory information.


WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience

• Minimum 2 years of Telecoms experience

• Good English language skills

• Excellent communication, prioritization and organization skills

• Very good TCP/IP knowledge

• Good networking knowledge (on CCNA/CCNP level)

• Good knowledge of Cisco switching/routing technologies

• Good knowledge of Cisco VPN technologies

• Good understanding of any proxy platform

• Good Wireless LAN knowledge

• Good Video Conference knowledge on on premise / cloud platforms.

• Very good understanding of any FW/NIPS platform 

Responsibilities

WHAT IS THE PLUS POINT (S)

· ITIL Foundation/ Certification knowledge a plus.


Desired Age
: 25 - 29 Yrs with 2 - 4Year experience.

Location : Position based at IT Services location at Indore.
