Responsibilities:
As a OT - Hand Therapist, You’ll Achieve Success By:
Reviewing patient medical history and developing individualized treatment plans
Diagnosing patients by observing movements and listening to concerns
Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and manual therapy to manage pain and improve mobility
Recording patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed
Qualifications:
Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist Requirements:
Licensed Occupational Therapist (or ability to obtain in the state of practice)
Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
Basic computer skills
CPR and first aid certification required
Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)
strongly preferred
OR
CHT-eligible
(minimum
4,000 hours of hand therapy experience
and
3 years of practice ),
awaiting board examination ,
OR
Level II fieldwork in hand therapy , with
relevant continuing education , and
1–2 years of outpatient hand therapy experience
as a
licensed OT, OR
New grads with Level II fieldwork in hand therapy
with a a strong clinical interest in
upper extremity rehabilitation and a commitment to pursuing advanced training and certification in hand therapy
Compensation:
$90K - $120K+ inclusive of productivity incentives, with additional compensation opportunities for certifications. Benefits include generous paid time off, medical, dental, vision, disability, and 401(K) with a 4% employer match.
