Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Your expertise enables learners to thrive in an educational setting, helping them access their curriculum and participate more fully in school activities.Key Qualifications & Experience:Licensed Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy AssistantPrior experience working in school-based settings preferredComfortable collaborating with educators and families to deliver effective interventionsAdept at conducting assessments and implementing individualized treatment plansExcellent communication and documentation abilitiesPassion for helping young learners realize their potentialCore Responsibilities:Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students with varying needs during the ESY programEvaluate students’ fine motor, sensory, adaptive, and self-help skills to determine therapy goalsCollaboratively develop and implement individualized therapy interventions aligned with IEPsMonitor and document student progress toward identified outcomesCommunicate regularly with teachers, support staff, and families to promote continuity of careAdapt to the unique dynamics and schedule of summer programmingThis contract position offers the opportunity to maintain your clinical skills in a school-based environment while enjoying the satisfaction of making a difference for students during their summer session.
