Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOn-Site Tax Associate – Tax House MiamiTax House Miami, an upbeat and modern accounting firm, is seeking an energetic Tax Associate with an accounting background to join our team and make an immediate impact.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow with a rapidly expanding boutique accounting firm. You will work directly with highly experienced accountants and Enrolled Agents, gaining hands-on experience and expanding your skill set.Bilingual in English and Spanish is REQUIRED.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and file individual and business income tax returnsAssist with quarterly tax estimatesHandle client inquiries, build relationships, and communicate with a young, modern client basePerform data entry and other administrative duties as neededCollaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely tax preparationRequired Skills & Qualifications:Experience preparing and filing tax returns 2 years min.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and WordStrong email and calendar management skills (Outlook preferred)Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skillsSelf-starter with the ability to prioritize and multitask multiple clients and administrative tasksComfortable communicating via phone and ZoomWillingness to learn new client management softwarePrevious experience in accounting, finance, or a related field1-5 years of relevant experience preferredPosition Details:Seasonal role for tax season (January – April)Full-time opportunities may be considered for the right candidateOn-site position in Miami, FLIf you’re motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to take on a fast-paced tax season with a fun and growing team, we’d love to hear from you!
