Main purpose of role:
The Junior BI Specialist supports data-driven decision-making by ensuring accurate reporting and contributing to process improvements across clients. This role focuses on developing analytical skills and leveraging business intelligence tools to enhance reporting efficiency and deliver actionable insights.
Key responsibilities:
- Support and work with the Program Management Office to ensure the accurate and timely production of scheduled reports.
- Production of ad-hoc reports as required by clients.
- Learn appropriate and effective use of VMS (e.g. Fieldglass, Beeline, Coupa, VNDLY), including how to prepare reports and properly utilize report data.
- Assist in maintaining team tools/documentation to ensure information updates/changes are accurate and consistent
- Create VMS reports for new client implementations and as requested
- Perform special projects as assigned
Skills required for the role:
- Exceptional level of attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Basic knowledge of Excel
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to hit aggressive deadlines and cope with regular interruptions
- Team player who can effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI
