Johnson & Johnson is hiring for an Oracle Cloud Developer - Shockwave Medical to join our team located in Santa Clara, CA.
We are developing the next generation of smarter, less invasive, more personalized treatments. We’re pioneering the development and commercialization of Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) to treat complex calcified cardiovascular disease. Our Shockwave Medical portfolio aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
Position Overview
The Oracle Cloud Developer role is responsible for designing and developing technical solutions within the Oracle Cloud suite of technology products. The role includes writing SQL queries and designing effective Oracle reports within the BI platform. The developer also works with functional analysts to provide the necessary technical support for end‑to‑end integrated solutions within the Oracle cloud platform.
Essential Job Functions
- Understand business requirements and develop technical deliverables in Oracle Cloud.
- Work on dashboard and analytics tools within Oracle Cloud to support business reporting needs.
- Collaborate with functional leads to understand objectives and processes and suggest optimal technical solutions.
- Work with various Oracle Cloud technologies such as OIC, low‑code development platforms (e.g., VBCS), and tools like APEX.
- Implement the latest AI technologies in Oracle to increase business efficiency.
- Document technical design specifications for each released deliverable.
- Collaborate with third‑party vendor teams and Shockwave technical architects in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- 8+ years of experience in a technical space specific to Oracle applications.
- 6+ years of experience with Oracle ERP (EBS/Cloud) in technical development.
- Strong experience with BI/OTBI report development.
- Experience with developer tools, low‑code platforms, and Oracle Integration Platform (OIC).
- Experience integrating Oracle Cloud applications with other systems through OIC.
- Proficient in documentation and converting business requirements into detailed technical flows.
- Experience implementing EDI integration with third‑party applications.
- Experience implementing REST/SOAP‑based API/Web Services integration.
- Strong foundation in security protocols, data security, and encryption.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi‑task and prioritize.
- Continuous improvement mindset with superior analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Benefits
- The anticipated base pay range for this position is $86,000 to $138,600 annually.
- Eligible for an annual performance bonus according to the company’s performance plans.

- Eligible to participate in the company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
- Eligible for time‑off benefits:
- Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year.
- Sick time – up to 40 hours per calendar year (up to 56 hours for employees in Washington).
- Holiday pay, including floating holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year.
- Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year.

Pay Transparency
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $86,000 to $138,600 annually.
