Otolaryngology Physician

Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Otolaryngologist to provide 24-hour inpatient call coverage for a growing ENT service line at a Level II Trauma Center in Georgia. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of inpatient rounding, ER consults, and general ENT call.

Highlights

• 24-hour call shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM)
• Level II trauma facility with a broad mix of general ENT pathology
• Typical call volume averages 1 consult per day, occasionally up to 4 (ER and inpatient combined)
• Flexible scheduling with weekday and weekend call blocks available

Practice Setting

• Adult inpatient population
• General ENT consults, inpatient rounding, and trauma-related evaluations
• Frequent management of ER epistaxis cases
• Oracle Cerner EMR
• Dedicated hospital support staff

Cases & Procedures

• General ENT consults
• Inpatient rounding
• ER epistaxis management
• Preferred (not required):
  • Evaluation of post-operative neck dissection wounds, including flap checks and wound care
  • Participation in facial trauma call

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years) in Otolaryngology
• Active Georgia medical license, or eligible through the IMLC with an active Letter of Qualification (LOQ)
