Our ideal candidate leads by example, supports their team, and ensures all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.If youre someone who takes pride in your work, steps in where needed, and is driven to help others perform at their bestwe want to hear from you.QualificationsThe following are required or preferred unless otherwise noted:Prior supervisory or management experienceAbility to work independently and make sound decisionsStrong customer service skillsExperience managing a team of 10 or more employeesExperience with floor care, including stripping and waxing, requiredPrior custodial or janitorial experience required.Ability to pass a department of defense background checkAvailability to work overnightsKey ResponsibilitiesThe Custodial Manager will perform and/or oversee the following:Assign daily custodial tasks to team membersSupervise employees performing cleaning and sanitation duties to ensure quality standards are metMonitor workflow and productivity to ensure all work is completed within required timeframesConduct quality control inspections and ensure corrective actions are taken when needed
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and all applicable regulationsOversee health and safety procedures to maintain a safe work environmentServe as the primary point of contact for customer representatives and address any concerns or requestsRespond to and document employee incidents, accidents, and emergencies appropriatelyHandle employee concerns and promote a positive, respectful work environmentComplete required reports, documentation, and end-of-day processesLead by example by actively participating in custodial dutiesMotivate and support team members through a strong, hands-on leadership approach
