We are looking for a Part-Qualified Patent Attorney to join our biotechnology practice.

This is an opportunity to work with a broad range of innovative clients, helping to protect breakthrough technologies across biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and the wider life sciences sector.

Who are we looking to hire:

You will have:

• A degree (or higher qualification) in biotechnology or a closely related life sciences discipline, such as biochemistry, immunology, microbiology or genetics.
• Progress towards qualification as a European and/or Irish Patent Attorney.
• Experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
• Excellent technical writing, analytical and communication skills.

Research or industrial experience in the life sciences would be an advantage.

You will work closely with experienced attorneys on drafting and prosecuting patent applications, providing strategic IP advice and managing patent portfolios for a diverse client base. There will be excellent opportunities to develop your expertise while progressing towards full qualification.
