Part Time Payroll Coordinator

We are recruiting for a Part Time Payroll Co-ordinator to join a busy finance team based in Leeds. This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys working in a varied role, has excellent attention to detail and is confident managing payroll responsibilities in a fast paced environment.

The successful candidate will support the processing of both weekly and monthly payrolls, ensuring all submissions and payroll related administration are completed accurately and within required deadlines. You will also provide support to employees with payroll queries and assist with wider finance administration where needed.Key Responsibilities:Process weekly payrollProcess monthly payrollComplete EPS submissions and HMRC reportingAnalyse weekly timesheet data and provide payroll related reportingManage Attachment of Earnings requirements and paymentsSupport annual P11D processing across the businessRespond to payroll and payslip queries from employeesProcess new starter and leaver information including P45 administrationProduce annual Gender Pay Gap reporting using internal systemsSubmit pension and union fee deductions to relevant bodiesSupport the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative tasksSkills and Experience Required: Previous payroll experience preferredGood understanding of PAYE, National Insurance and payroll proceduresStrong Excel and data handling skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectivelyHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailPositive and adaptable approach to workAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentWhat's on Offer:Salary up to £17.95 per hourBonus or profit share opportunities25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pro rata for part time hoursEnhanced pension schemeFlexible working arrangementsFree on site parkingTraining and career development opportunitiesEmployee wellbeing and assistance programmesFriendly and supportive working environment If you are looking for a flexible payroll opportunity where you can make a real contribution within a collaborative finance team, we would love to hear from you.Our Guarantee Thank you for your interest in this vacancy.
