Patent Attorney – Law Firm – Multiple Locations

Position Overview

Schwegman Lundberg & Woessner, P.A. is seeking patent attorneys with 3-6 years of strong biotech prosecution experience for our Minneapolis office or ten-plus years of experience for a satellite position. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, a desire to develop new business, and a desire to work in a team environment, especially with the chemical/pharmaceutical group. Though not required, an advanced degree in molecular/cell biology, genetics, bioinformatics or biochemistry is preferred.

Significant, relevant industry experience can be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of strong biotech prosecution experience (for Minneapolis office) or ten-plus years experience (for satellite positions).
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment, especially with the chemical/pharmaceutical group.
• Desire to develop new business.
• Preferred: advanced degree in molecular/cell biology, genetics, bioinformatics, or biochemistry.
• Relevant industry experience can be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.
