Allen Orthotics & Prosthetics is seeking a compassionate, organized, and motivated Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and takes pride in providing outstanding customer service.

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in guiding patients through their orthotic and prosthetic care. You will serve as a primary point of contact for patients, physicians, and insurance providers while helping ensure that every patient receives timely, coordinated care.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting and assisting patients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Scheduling appointments and coordinating patient care.
• Communicating with physicians, hospitals, case managers, and referral sources.
• Obtaining insurance authorizations and verifying benefits.
• Tracking referrals, prescriptions, and required medical documentation.
• Assisting with patient records and electronic documentation.
• Answering incoming telephone calls and responding to patient questions.
• Coordinating the ordering and delivery of orthotic and prosthetic devices.
• Working closely with our clinical team to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications:

• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy medical office.
• Proficient with computers and willing to learn specialized medical software.
• Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and professional appearance.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required.
