About the Role
RPMGlobal is currently seeking an experienced Payroll and Finance Coordinator to coordinate the processing of our Australian and global payroll and to provide hands-on support across key finance administration activities.
You will bring strong financial skills and practical experience supporting finance processes, including expense management and reconciliations, and month-end support. You will be a confident user of payroll/finance systems and Microsoft Excel, with experience working in a corporate environment.
This is a permanent part-time role, 24 hours per week, based in our Brisbane CBD headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute the end-to-end payroll function for Australian and global employees.
- Maintain payroll master data and support system maintenance to ensure data quality.
- Process payroll efficiently and resolve payroll queries and issues in a timely manner.
- Manage end-of-financial-year payroll processes, including reconciliations and reporting.
- Assist with reconciliations and month-end tasks, including preparation of supporting schedules and responding to internal queries.
- Supporting the finance function with administrative tasks as required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll and finance processes, documentation and controls.
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with internal stakeholders (People & Culture, Finance and leaders).
- Provide first-class customer service to internal customers and respond to payroll and finance administration queries.
- Experience with BambooHR, ADP Payforce or SAP is desirable.
About You
- Prior experience supporting payroll and broader finance administration functions.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn new systems, processes and responsibilities across payroll and finance administration.
- Experience working in a corporate environment is highly advantageous.
- Working knowledge of payroll systems, finance/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret Awards, PAYG, payroll tax and other legal requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Legally work in Australia.
