Position Overview
The Division of Pediatric Cardiology in the Department of Pediatrics at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) and Albert Einstein School of Medicine is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Pediatric Cardiologist to serve as Echo Lab Director at the Associate Professor level. The role includes clinical leadership, administrative oversight of the Echo Lab, and involvement in educational and research activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric cardiology services.
- Lead and manage the echocardiography laboratory operations.
- Perform and supervise transesophageal, fetal, and other advanced echocardiographic studies.
- Engage in faculty development, trainee education, and mentorship.
- Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.
- Advanced training in pediatric echocardiography with at least one additional year of dedicated experience.
- Proficiency in transesophageal and fetal echocardiography.
- Excellent clinical skills and commitment to patient care.
- Strong teaching, communication, and teamwork abilities.
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive salary ranging from $270,000 to $300,000 commensurate with academic rank, with incentives for clinical productivity.
