People Consulting – HR Transformation & Technology – Payroll Analyst – Manager – Multiple Positions
Obtain a salary of $141,256.00 per year with a comprehensive Total Rewards package.
Job Responsibilities
- Advise on payroll best practices and payroll service delivery models to support clients’ global payroll challenges.
- Manage the preparation, processing and administration of payroll‑related project activities to improve and reduce costs and risks.
- Support global payroll advisory, payroll technology solution support and payroll transformation initiatives.
- Lead payroll solution vendor assessment, selection and implementation, and advise on global payroll operating models.
- Identify payroll improvement initiatives and efficiency opportunities to enhance payroll quality and adherence to internal controls.
- Support seamless transition during payroll solution implementations and transformations.
- Influence and persuade clients and stakeholders to gain support for payroll transformation and operational improvement initiatives.
- Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds, ensuring quality client services and monitoring progress.
- Cultivate business development opportunities and maintain long‑term client relationships and networks.
Job Details
- Full‑time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
- Travel up to 80%, including up to 20% international.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, Law, Management Information Systems, Statistics, Human Resources, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, or related field plus 5 years of related work experience; a 3‑ or 4‑year degree is acceptable.
- Master’s degree in a related field plus 4 years of related work experience is also acceptable.
- At least 2 years of payroll consulting experience at a professional services or consulting firm, including vendor selection for HR technology vendors (ADP, Core HR, PeopleSoft/Oracle, SAP, UKG, Dayforce, Workday).
- At least 2 years of project management experience with global or multi‑national payroll projects, including budget and scope management.
- At least 3 years of experience defining requirements, prototyping, testing, training and implementing payroll solutions under multiple deadlines.
- At least 1 year of experience in global payroll analytics and strategy.
- At least 1 year of combined experience with domestic, regional, multi‑country, and global payroll service delivery models.
- At least 2 years of experience with technology solutions, including reports, strategies, assessments, and process designs, while considering risks.
- At least 4 years of experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- At least 3 years of experience with human capital and/or payroll analytics.
- At least 2 years of experience delivering written and oral presentations to clients on payroll transformation and operational improvement initiatives.
- At least 1 year of experience supervising a team of junior consulting professionals.
- Ability to travel up to 80%, including up to 20% international.
- Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience will be considered.
