Required Skills: Valid Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) licenseBoard certification in Obstetrics & GynecologyProven experience in obstetric hospital medicine, including inpatient care, triage, and delivery attendanceProficiency in emergency response within Labor and DeliveryAbility to perform surgical assists at Cesarean sectionsStrong clinical judgment and excellent communication skillsAbility to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced hospital settingNice to Have Skills: Prior experience in a hospitalist or OB hospitalist programFamiliarity with electronic health records and health information technology toolsBilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populationsPreferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical schoolAt least 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experienceCurrent Texas medical license or the ability to obtain oneACLS, BLS, and PALS certificationsOther Requirements: Availability to start on or after April 2, 2026Must comply with all hospital and state licensing requirementsWillingness to covering OB triage, deliveries, inpatient care, ER GYN consults, and surgical assistsCommitment to providing high-quality patient care and participating in community-based initiatives when possibleThis is a compelling opportunity to work in a thriving community with excellent support and flexible scheduling.
