PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC required (Certified)
Licenses: Active NC license
DEA: NC DEA required
Experience: Actively delivering babies; must submit case logs for past 24 months
Other Qualifications: Must be currently enrolled with PECOS as a provider; NC Medicaid credential required; must be fully vaccinated; no recent or open malpractice cases

Duties & Responsibilities

Round on patients and provide ongoing obstetrical and gynecological care
Be on-call for emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries
Perform emergent GYN procedures as needed
Coordinate high-risk transfers to New Hanover Regional or Cape Fear Valley for NICU care
Maintain availability within 20 minutes per hospital bylaws
