JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: BC required (Certified)
- Licenses: Active NC license
- DEA: NC DEA required
- Experience: Actively delivering babies; must submit case logs for past 24 months
- Other Qualifications: Must be currently enrolled with PECOS as a provider; NC Medicaid credential required; must be fully vaccinated; no recent or open malpractice cases
- Round on patients and provide ongoing obstetrical and gynecological care
- Be on-call for emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries
- Perform emergent GYN procedures as needed
- Coordinate high-risk transfers to New Hanover Regional or Cape Fear Valley for NICU care
- Maintain availability within 20 minutes per hospital bylaws
