Job Description
This role will administer Human Resources functions, including but not limited to payroll administration, benefits enrollment and maintenance, policy/procedure compliance, helping maintain positive employee morale, employee appreciation events, recruitment activities, and assist plant staff in preparation of various reports (production, inventory, etc.).

Responsibilities
Assist with all internal and external HR-related matters
Lead at training on and carrying out organizational guidelines and procedures
Recommend strategies to motivate and retain employees
Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates thought multiple channels of recruiting and interviewing
Investigate complaints brought forward by employees and work with plant management to appropriately address
Coordinate employee development plans and performance management
Perform orientations for new hires and maintain updated records for all employees
Manage the organization’s employee database and prepare reports related to compensation, performance reviews, staffing and other related matters
Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
Plan and lead employee appreciation activities and rewards
Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices
Serve as a People Leader, Open and Cooperative Communication Leader, and a true Servant Leader
HR Generalist Requirements
High school/GED with HR coursework, seminars, or equivalent experience.
Additional HR training, certification or education a plus
3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, high preference for a manufacturing setting
Understanding of Labor Law and employment regulations
Efficient HR administration and people management skills
Working knowledge of payroll-related time and attendance systems;
Knowledge and/ training in HR functions and best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience assisting in compliance with policies, procedures relating to work rules, nondiscrimination/Non Harassment; safety policies, etc.
Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines
Superb computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office and related HR software
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Power Point
Organizational and conflict management skills
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Creative skills to help maintain/enhance positive employee relations environment.
Willingness/ability to work occasionally on off-shifts or weekends
Commitment to setting positive example for punctuality, reliability, dress-code and Good Manufacturing Practices
