Job DescriptionJob DescriptionProlec GE Is Now A Part Of The GE Vernova GroupProlec | GE Vernova is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Principal LTC Services Leader to establish and lead our Load Tap Changer (LTC) Center of Excellence within our Services team based in Goldsboro, NC. This is a critical leadership role focused on driving technical excellence, expanding high-margin service offerings, and building long-term partnerships with utility customers.If you’re an industry expert in LTC/OLTC systems with a passion for leadership, innovation, and service growth, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact at scale.What You’ll DoLead the strategy, execution, and continuous evolution of the LTC Center of ExcellenceDrive growth, profitability, and commercialization of LTC service offeringsProvide expert technical leadership for complex LTC inspections, diagnostics, retrofits, upgrades, and maintenanceDevelop and implement technician certification programs to strengthen internal capabilityDeliver training programs, workshops, and industry presentations to internal teams and utility customersPartner cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and regional Service teamsSupport pricing strategies, quotations, and scope development for LTC servicesMentor and develop a team of LTC Field Service Technicians, ensuring standardized best practicesFoster long-term customer relationships, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), for LTC maintenance programsLead continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Lean principlesCoordinate project execution across regions while ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfactionWhat You BringDeep expertise in LTC/OLTC systems, transformer services, and utility operationsProven ability in advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and failure analysisStrong business acumen with experience driving service growth and managing customer relationshipsExceptional leadership and mentoring skills with a track record of developing technical teamsStrong communication and presentation skills, with experience delivering training or speaking at industry eventsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field10+ years of experience in LTC systems, transformer services, or utility service operationsAdditional DetailsOversees approximately 14 LTC Field Service TechniciansRequires frequent travel to customer sites, training sessions, and industry conferencesWork environment includes field locations, manufacturing facilities, and office settingsWhy Join Us?Culture:
