The Emerging Systems business unit is pioneering the future of space-based communications with TeraWave, a satellite network designed to deliver symmetrical data speeds of up to 6 Tbps worldwide.
As part of a dynamic team of program managers, you will be accountable for agile delivery of highly complex projects within the TeraWave portfolio. Working with cross-functional engineering teams and the Program Management Office (PMO), you will facilitate collaboration to build a detailed understanding of technical requirements, dependencies, and implementation strategies. You will coordinate tracking of technical progress, budget utilization, iterative delivery schedules, and risk mitigation.
This position drives the ability to deliver program objectives through adaptive planning and servant leadership, reporting to the Director of RF Communications within the PMO.

Responsibilities
- Primary point of contact for execution and management of program deliverables, performance to plan, and completion of customer statement of work
- Manage contractual data requirements lists and deliveries; support mission‑level scope definition and programmatic baselining/budget management; responsible for customer relationship building and management (from pre‑solicitation through launch/delivery/ops), program staffing requests and team scope management, spend planning, risk management, cash flow
- Prioritize weekly and monthly tasking across multiple organizations and functions within the project
- Lead financial performance of accounts held at the program level; oversee financial performance of accounts held by subsystem leads
- Implement business rhythm: organize for, and conduct staff meetings, operating reviews, monthly reporting, and quarterly/annual planning; generate and track action items
- Lead the Program Planning & Control, Finance, Procurement, Cost Engineering teams to establish program baselines, detailed planning, execution status, and recovery plans to variance
- Partner with supporting functional organizations to assure continuous interfaces, smooth operations, and reconciliation of process standards, action items, and emergent issues across the project
- Represent the Business Unit/Product Line interests on proposal efforts in terms of scope, price vs cost, and resource allocation; lead program sign‑off of proposal content
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, or engineering or equivalent years of experience
- Background in program management and/or program planning in the aerospace industry
- Experience working on Aerospace Development Programs and/or Space Systems
- Strong understanding of DFARs based contracts
- Experience in structured environments, establishing and maintaining a structured culture within a varied workforce and multifaceted portfolio
- Strong motivation with an operations outlook and work ethic: tactical responsiveness, making important decisions fast, delivering results
- Demonstrated expertise in the use of MS Project for labor‑loaded Integrated Schedules
- Ability to earn trust and maintain positive, professional relationships
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance preferred
- Experience in dynamic organizations including planning, budget, schedule, quality, deliverables, reporting, staff, facilities, and interfaces
- Demonstrated experience managing development projects and programs
Compensation
Compensation range for CA applicants is $169,347.00 – $237,085.80. WA applicants is $169,347.00 – $237,085.80. Other site ranges may differ.
