Procurement Engineer

Job ResponsibilitySourcing & Execution: Lead the sourcing, development, and procurement execution of machinery, automation equipment, and spare parts within the Indonesian market.Strategic Negotiation: Manage RFQs (Request for Quotation), price comparisons, and commercial negotiations; drive cost reduction (TCO) initiatives to meet annual savings targets.Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends and conduct in-depth research on the Indonesian mechanical and industrial sectors across different regions.Supplier Management: Develop and maintain a robust local supplier database; perform supplier qualification, auditing, and performance grading.Project Coordination: Ensure timely delivery of equipment and parts while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Job RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related technical field.Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in equipment and spare parts procurement (Critical Requirement).Language Skills: Proficient in English (spoken and written); Mandarin proficiency is a significant advantage for cross-border coordination.Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with local automation component brands is highly preferred.Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Indonesian trade regulations, customs procedures, and local procurement laws.Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market research and cost analysis.
