Arcon Recruitment, the longest established recruitment agency in the West of Ireland, is currently recruiting for an experienced Procurement Manager on behalf of a leading and rapidly growing company based in Co. Mayo.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to join a dynamic organisation and take ownership of the full procurement function while working closely with senior management and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Managing the full procurement process across the business
\n
• Using and improving internal procurement and stock management systems
\n
• Expanding supplier networks and developing strong supplier relationships
\n
• Negotiating pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
\n
• Coordinating procurement activities with production, design, and site teams
\n
• Managing inventory and maintaining optimal stock levels
\n
• Preparing weekly procurement trackers and monthly management reports
\n
• Managing purchasing and stores personnel
\n
• Monitoring procurement costs and ensuring efficient supply chain operations
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Previous experience in a Procurement Manager or Senior Buyer role
\n
• Experience within construction, manufacturing, or off-site manufacturing desirable
\n
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
\n
• Excellent organisational and analytical abilities
\n
• Experience with procurement, stock control, and planning systems
\n
• Strong reporting and communication skills
\n
• Ability to manage and support teams effectively
\n
