Job Description
Location: Mettawa, Illinois
Job Type: Contract
Compensation Range: $63 - $68 per hour
We are seeking talented Product Managers on behalf of our client in the biopharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Candidates must be commutable to Mettawa, Illinois. This position operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring three days a week in-office (Tuesday through Thursday).
Responsibilities
- Roadmap & Strategy Execution: Own the strategy, performance, and continuous improvement of a defined digital Patient Relationship Management (PRM) platform area. Shape the end‑to‑end vision for user‑facing experiences across multiple channels, including field services, access and reimbursement, and digital communications.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Strategy, Business Design, Technical Product Owners, and cross‑functional business stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize enhancements, and ensure all delivered capabilities are desirable, feasible, and aligned with enterprise priorities.
- Agile Team Leadership: Lead sprint planning, daily standups, demos, and retrospectives for the assigned product area. Coordinate discovery and delivery activities across technical, design, and business teams.
- Scope & Lifecycle Management: Shape MVP scope and delivery plans through hypothesis‑driven planning and team experimentation. Proactively manage the platform lifecycle, identify risks, blockers, or shifts in scope, and escalation to Area Product Owners for resolution.
- Stakeholder Alignment & Release Readiness: Drive continuous alignment across business, compliance, and technology stakeholders. Support release planning and readiness activities to ensure seamless user experiences.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; a technical background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Professional Experience: 5+ years as a technical product manager, technical product owner, or business analyst.
- Industry Context: Experience working within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or highly regulated industries is strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Hands‑on familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence. Prior experience with Salesforce platforms (Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Marketing Cloud) is highly advantageous.
- Core Competencies: Strong understanding of platform lifecycle management, cross‑functional delivery, process improvement, and stakeholder management. Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with data privacy, HIPAA, or other patient data regulatory frameworks is preferred.
