Company DescriptionBased in Jakarta, Ageless Galaxy & Co. is a dynamic and innovative company dedicated to creating unique products and experiences. Driven by a passion for excellence and a vision that blends creativity with a "Do What You Love" mentality, we strive to leave an impactful mark on the galaxy through our three divisions : AGLXY the Brand, AGLXY Store, and our creative agency, ACD.
Role OverviewWe are looking for a hands-on Product & Production Coordinator to join our crew. This role is a mix of high-energy fashion production and professional agency coordination. You will spend the majority of your time on AGLXY the Brand, where we are experimental, limited-edition, and always pushing boundaries with fabrics and cuts. You will also support our agency, ACD, by coordinating with our trusted vendors for high-quality prints and packaging.
Work Structure :Status : Full-Time.Mobility : High. You’ll be on the ground most days visiting our workshops and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- AGLXY the Brand
Vendor Sourcing : Actively hunt for and vet new vendors who can handle our specialized needs—from high-end garment stitching to unique lifestyle accessories.
Material Hunting : Work with our Fashion Designer and Creative Director to find the "new and the next" fabrics, unique accessories (buttons, zippers, trims), and new garment techniques.
Deep QC : You must be obsessed with the details. You’ll be checking everything – stitching tension, fabric weight, pocket placements, and print accuracy.
Quality Solutions : If a vendor sends an incorrect sample, you provide a physical reference or example so they can fix it immediately.
- ACD Agency
Collateral Production : Work closely with our Graphic Designers to produce agency materials (menu prints, business cards, packaging, etc.).
Relationship Management : Work with our established "hand-me-down" vendors. Your job is to manage the flow and ensure they maintain our high standards.
Timeline Oversight : Ensure that client projects are delivered exactly when they are needed.
Requirements
Highly Organized : You can manage multiple production timelines at once. You keep track of every sample, every fabric swatch, and every vendor status without breaking a sweat.
Proactive Problem Solver : When a vendor says "it's impossible," you find a way to make it possible. You have the urgency to push through roadblocks and keep production moving.
High Urgency with Clear Communication : You understand that deadlines are non-negotiable. While you take initiative, you have the common sense to ask and verify if you are ever in doubt before making a final call.
Detail-Obsessed : You notice a crooked stitch or a color mismatch instantly. You are the final "filter" for quality before a product reaches the shelf.
A True "Gearhead" : You love fabrics, materials, and seeing how things are made. You have a genuine interest in the streetwear industry and the AGLXY aesthetic.
Microsoft Excel : You should be comfortable using spreadsheets to track production status, costs, and material lists.
Industry Knowledge : Basic understanding of garment construction and printing processes.
No Design Skills Needed : You don't need to be a designer, but you must be able to "speak designer" and translate that to our vendors.
Experience : 1–3 years in production or sourcing
What We Are Not Looking For
Corporate "Big Box" Managers: If you are used to managing thousands of SKUs and massive global supply chains, you’ll likely find our process too niche. We aren't about mass production; we’re about limited drops and quality.
Textile Developers or Material Scientists: We are not looking for someone to engineer new fibers or develop fabrics from scratch in a lab. We need someone who can find the best existing materials and vendors in the market and secure them for our designs.
Hands-Off" Supervisors: We don't need someone to just pass messages between designers and factories. We need a problem solver who will physically show a tailor how a stitch should look or hunt through a market until they find the exact zipper we need.
Purely "Desk-Bound" or Purely "Field" Workers: We need a hybrid. If you only want to sit behind a screen, you'll fail at the workshops. If you only want to hang out at workshops and hate doing the paperwork, you’ll fail at the scheduling. You must be able to bridge the two.
