Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and result-oriented PPIC Manager to lead Production Planning, Material Planning, Inventory Control, and cross-functional coordination activities in a regulated pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment.The candidate will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted production through effective planning, inventory optimization, procurement coordination, and on-time delivery while maintaining compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.Candidates from pharmaceutical, biopharma, vaccine, sterile, injectables, medical device, or life sciences companies

Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end Production Planning & Inventory Control (PPIC) activities for manufacturing operations.Prepare monthly, weekly, and daily production plans based on sales forecasts and business priorities.Ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and critical inventory.Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, Manufacturing, QA, QC, Engineering, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams for smooth execution.Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory optimization strategies to avoid stock-outs and excess inventory.Track production schedules and ensure adherence to dispatch timelines and customer commitments.Conduct capacity planning and resource utilization analysis for efficient plant operations.Manage ERP/MRP systems for planning, inventory tracking, and material requirement planning.Prepare MIS reports, planning dashboards, inventory reports, and KPI presentations for management review.Drive continuous improvement initiatives for planning accuracy, OTIF, inventory turns, and operational efficiency.Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.Handle vendor coordination and follow-up for critical materials.Support audits, validations, technology transfers, and new product launches from a planning perspective.

Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Engineering, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Supply Chain, or related field.MBA / PGDM in Operations or Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.

Experience Required8-15 years of relevant experience in PPIC, Supply Chain, Production Planning, or Inventory Management.Experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, sterile, injectables, vaccine, medical device, or regulated manufacturing industry is mandatory.Exposure to SAP/ERP/MRP systems is highly preferred.Experience handling regulatory and GMP-driven environments is essential.
