Compensation Range: $68,000 up to $78,000 annually Position Summary The Production Scheduler works with team members to plan and prepare production schedules, ensuring products are manufactured and delivered in a cost-efficient and timely manner. The Production Scheduler will ensure that the capacity and production planning initiatives are achieved on schedule.
Key performance indicators will be defined to support production planning, customer demands, and ensure schedules and deadlines are achieved. Primary Responsibilities Creation and maintenance of production plan & master schedule per customer (Capacity Plan), demand maintaining ERP system dates are accurate. Plans & prepares production schedules on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, working with sales/accounting/purchasing and manufacturing departments to meet sales forecasts Keep production priorities current, complete, and accurate while maintaining a cross-functional production control team Work cross-functionally to ensure all labor, material, and operational inputs can support the aligned schedule Generate plant forecasting of load and both short-term and long-term available capacity.
Generate Master Production Schedules and Manufacturing Orders, forecasting inventory requirements, optimizing inventory levels, and helping the organization evaluate and implement an inventory management ERP system Review sales forecasts, customer demands, and schedule production batches based on inventory levels and production lead time Responsible for accurate raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory levels; accuracy of product data for finished product Advises management of the status of work in progress and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed. Create and/or organize a production schedule daily, and also make sure that every output (level) is recorded appropriately in the correct system Work hand-in-hand with other employees to make sure that all issues that are related to scheduling are properly handled and resolved Educational Requirements 3 – 5 years of previous work-related experience in a job-related field A bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration is an asset, or equivalent industry experience with a background in planning, supply chain, inventory management, and other related fields. Required Skills & Expertise Excellent computer skills working with MS Office, Visual, and any other related software Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbalExcellent organizational and time management skills, showing the ability to prioritize Must be a team player displaying a cooperative and supportive attitude with employees at all levels of the Company and customers Strong knowledge of production scheduling software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Excel).

Microsoft Office, Visual Manufacturing Physical Demands Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, which may involve standing or walking for extended periods, exposure to loud noise, and working in various temperature conditions.
The role is primarily based in a manufacturing facility, with regular interaction with production staff and management teams. Occasional travel may be required to visit other company locations, suppliers locally and overseas, or customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
