Your missionKeep our hose extrusion lines running safely, efficiently, and to spec. You’ll balance speed with precision, maintain defined run conditions, and document every step—so the team can win, together.
Core impact areas- Safety and housekeeping: Maintain a clean, orderly area; flag issues immediately.
- Quality and sampling: Take/evaluate samples as required; hold production to established standards.
- Throughput and uptime: Run at target parameters; sustain maximum line speeds and productivity across assigned machines.
- Equipment operations: Operate primary and auxiliary systems for your area.
- Communication and documentation: Inform the crew leader/shift supervisor of any safety, mechanical, or operational problems; complete production, receiving, and QC paperwork accurately and fully.
- Flexibility: Perform additional duties as assigned by the crew leader or supervisor.
- Cover operator breaks and assist with changeovers.
- Troubleshoot and solve most operational issues.
- Provide clear instructions and on-the-job training to colleagues.
This is a full-time, on-site role within a team-based manufacturing model. Reliable, on-time attendance is critical to your success and team safety. Based on business needs, mandatory overtime may be required—production areas must be appropriately staffed for safety and may run beyond scheduled shifts or require additional hours outside the normal schedule.
What you’ll need- Read/write proficiency for production reports (legible handwriting; proper spelling/grammar; all communications in English).
- Ability to follow SOPs and Hose Specifications per batch cards and run conditions.
- Math proficiency: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
- Forklift driving capability.
- Lift/handle machine parts up to 50 lbs.
- Move/control garden hose reels up to 1200 lbs; strength and stamina for up to 50 repetitions per shift.
- Remove and reassemble tooling using basic hand tools; perform essential mechanical tasks efficiently.
- Work in summer heat up to 15°ree;F above outside temperatures.
- Maintain legible written documentation with correct spelling and grammar.
- Bend, stoop, and lift hose, tools, and materials; up to 25 repetitions per shift.
