Job Description
Programme Manager (Qualifications), Science and Contractor Relations Permanent £62k-£66k (plus PRP - currently under review) CCEA places itself at the heart of the Northern Ireland community, with a remit that includes the development of the school curriculum, regulating qualifications and conducting examinations and assessment. This post presents the opportunity to be the sector lead, managing and influencing a team within the Qualifications directorate in delivering core strategic priorities to ensure work is prioritised and delivered in line with business and operational plans. The post holder will oversee and support a team across multiple examination series, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of outcomes of key technical processes including the development, monitoring and review of processes leading to the accurate and timely delivery of question papers, moderation, standardising and awarding.
In addition to leading a team responsible for a portfolio of qualifications, the post holder will have responsibility for contract management and renewals, oversight of fees associated with examiner duties, and the delivery of the annual performance management process for senior examiners. The post holder will also lead on governance activities within the Qualifications Team, including the internal auditing of procedures. This post is offered on a permanent contract basis.
