About the Company and the Project Accountant:
• Salary: $70,000 to $85,000

Key Responsibilities of the Project Accountant Role:
• Track and analyze project financials from start through completion
• Maintain accurate job cost records, including labor, materials, and overhead allocations
• Assist with month‑end close by preparing project‑related journal entries and reconciliations
• Partner with project managers to monitor budgets, costs, and profitability
• Perform variance analysis and identify cost drivers or discrepancies across projects
• Prepare and maintain project reporting for internal leadership
Requirements for the Project Accountant Role:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 3+ years of job costing experience
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting
