Project Accountant (Hiring Immediately)

Project Accountant – Pasadena, TX The overall purpose of the Associate Project Accountant position is to assist Project Accountants and Project Accounting Management to ensure invoicing on each project is handled in an accurate, efficient and professional manner. This non‑exempt role takes daily direction from a Project Accounting Team Lead and is assigned duties according to specific procedures with frequent work checks.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Business

Self‑motivated, problem‑solving, mentor, communication, time management

Extensive technical skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, ReportsNow, etc.

Post‑offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation

Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others at the workplace

Functional Requirements

Prepare and submit detailed and accurate invoices of reimbursable costs associated with maintenance and construction projects.

Effectively communicate and work closely with other departments, field personnel and client representatives to compile invoicing information and resolve problems.

Collaborate with other Project Accountants and offer assistance when a co‑worker’s workload requires it.

Assist in preparing detailed and accurate month‑end accruals (when necessary) and research, report and explain billing transactions to Accounting Management.

Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.

Engage in special projects such as client audits and system conversions as needed.

Compensation Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
