Project Coordinator (Civil Construction)

Our client, a leading civil contractor in the Lower Mainland, delivers complex infrastructure projects including earthworks, roadbuilding, excavation & shoring, and underground utilities. They are seeking a Project Coordinator to support project delivery and assist project teams with the successful execution of civil infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: Support Project Managers and Superintendents with day-to-day project coordination activities.

Assist with project planning, scheduling, cost tracking, and document control. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to help ensure projects stay on schedule. Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and progress reports.

Assist with procurement activities and material tracking. Maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, permits, and project records. Support progress billings, quantity tracking, and project forecasting.

Conduct site visits as required to support field operations and monitor project progress. Promote and uphold health, safety, and environmental standards. Ideal Candidate: 1–5 years of experience in civil construction as a Project Coordinator, Field Coordinator, EIT, or similar role.

Experience or exposure to earthworks, roadworks, excavation & shoring, and underground utilities projects considered a strong asset. Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
