We’re looking for a Project Engineer who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, take ownership, and make an impact across our sites in Ontario and beyond. This isn’t your typical desk-only engineering role.

You’ll be out in the field, supporting installs, solving real problems, and seeing your ideas come to life. If you love variety, thrive in fast-paced environments, and want to work on everything from greenfield builds to complex equipment installs, you’ll fit right in.What You’ll DoResolve technical issues during design, engineering, installation, and commissioning, whether it’s a single machine, a full production line, or an entire facilityIdentify and manage risks, ensuring safety standards are met and potential issues are eliminated before they become problemsReact efficiently to roadblocks and unforeseen challenges with motivation and creativity to meet deadlines and budgetsLead and execute projects of all sizes, creating schedules, budgets, installation plans, and commissioning timelines with support of project managerCollaborate with stakeholders such as operations, maintenance, procurement, contractors, engineering firms, regulatory agencies, and municipalitiesTake ownership of multidisciplinary projects with strong business sense, including large-scale greenfield builds, building construction, equipment installation, commissioning, acceptance testing, and project closeoutDefine project scopes, coordinate request for quotation process, contractor selection and coordination onsiteTrack progress & report results to the Project manager, adjusting scope, schedule, or budget as neededConfer with project teams to provide technical advice and problem-solving supportOversee technical content of procedures and programming for training purposesWhat You BringHigh motivation to understand deeply any problem to be able to solve it1–3 years of experience delivering projects on time and on budgetStrong design, planning, organization, and communication skillsHands‑on problem solver with a track record of critical thinking and sound judgmentHigh sense of ownership, able to take projects from start to finish with minimal supervisionProficiency with AutoCAD, MS Project, or equivalent project management toolsWillingness to travel and work independently on‑site when requiredKnowledge of OHSA, building codes, electrical and environmental regulations, and experience working with regulatory agenciesExperience in the corrugated or packaging industryWhat We OfferComprehensive health, dental and vision coverage (dependents included)Teamwork‑focused culture with sustainability initiatives and social eventsA culture of appreciation through a point‑based recognitionOpportunities for advancement and internal movementEducation assistance for continuous skill developmentAcademic scholarships for employees’ childrenSafety equipment and PPE support programInclusion and Accessibility Atlantic Packaging is committed to fostering an inclusive, accessible and respectful environment for all candidates.
