Project Engineer

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThis Job is in Boise Idaho. We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the planning and execution of data center construction projects. This role will work closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has experience in mission-critical environments and a solid understanding of construction processes and documentation.Key Responsibilities:Assist in managing day-to-day project operations, schedules, and documentationCoordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are metReview drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and complianceTrack RFIs, change orders, and project logsSupport procurement of materials and equipmentMonitor project progress and help identify and resolve issuesAssist with cost tracking, budgeting, and forecastingEnsure compliance with safety standards and quality control proceduresParticipate in project meetings and provide updates to stakeholdersQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)2–5+ years of experience in construction, preferably in data centers or mission-critical facilitiesStrong understanding of construction processes, drawings, and specificationsExperience managing RFIs, submittals, and project documentationProficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools preferredStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience with data center, mission-critical, or high-tech construction projectsFamiliarity with semiconductor construction or manufacturing environments preferredKnowledge of MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing)Familiarity with commissioning processes and turnover documentation
