Project Estimator & Sales - Sheet Metal / HVAC

Blythewood, SC

Ventcon is growing, and we’re looking for someone who can bring **estimating strength + customer credibility** to help us win and deliver complex work the right way.

This role is ideal for an experienced sheet metal/HVAC professional who understands:

full-cycle estimating (conceptual → hard bid)

self-perform fabrication + installation

proposal development that operations can actually execute

client relationships built on trust (not transactional selling)

What you’ll do

• Lead estimating and preconstruction for commercial/industrial sheet metal projects

• Perform takeoffs, develop labor/material pricing, and assess risk/productivity

• Build complete proposals: scope, inclusions/exclusions, clarifications, schedule approach

• Engage with owners, GCs, CMs, and piping contractors

• Coordinate across Ventcon locations (TN, SC, Mid-Michigan)

What we’re looking for

• 7–12+ years in commercial/industrial sheet metal/HVAC

• Proven estimating experience for self-perform duct/fab + install

• Proposal development + presentation experience

• Bonus: Quotesoft, union market familiarity, design-build/design-assist experience
