\nAbout the Company
\nFindCore are thrilled to be assisting a leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy with the recruitment of a Project Manager.
\nAbout the Role
\nPermanent position. This role will be based in Glasgow. There are 3 roles available - Experienced PM or Senior PM or Assistant Director PM.
\nResponsibilities
\n- \n
- Manage construction and property projects from feasibility through to completion and handover. \n
- Act as the primary contact for clients and maintain strong working relationships. \n
- Develop and monitor project programmes, budgets and delivery strategies. \n
- Coordinate consultants, contractors, design teams and wider stakeholders. \n
- Monitor project performance, risks, opportunities and mitigation measures. \n
- Produce programme, financial and risk reports for clients and Directors. \n
- Chair project meetings and ensure agreed actions are completed. \n
- Support procurement, contract administration and project governance. \n
- Monitor quality, costs, change control and key financial milestones. \n
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with client expectations. \n
Ideal Qualifications
\n- \n
- Relevant degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture, Building Surveying or a related discipline. \n
Ideal Skills
\n- \n
- Experience delivering construction or property projects within a consultancy or client-side environment. \n
- Strong understanding of construction delivery, procurement routes and contract administration. \n
- Excellent project planning, organisation and stakeholder-management skills. \n
- Commercial awareness with experience monitoring project costs and budgets. \n
- Confident managing multiple projects and competing priorities. \n
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills. \n
- High levels of professionalism, integrity and attention to detail. \n
- Full UK driving licence would be advantageous. \n
- Membership of RICS, APM, CIOB or ICE would be beneficial, although professional-development support is available. \n
